The Global Library of O.P. Jindal Global University (http://library.jgu.edu.in) invites applications for its two-year advanced training programme, which includes a stipend.
This programme is designed for enthusiastic and motivated graduates in Library & Information Science who wish to gain comprehensive, hands-on experience in a modern university library environment.
About the Training Programme
Trainees will work across the functional units of the Global Library and gain experience in:
- Information and reference services
- Digital library services and technologies
- User engagement and orientation activities
- Metadata management and institutional repository
- e-Resource management and access systems
- Research support and scholarly communication
- Special projects, events, and library innovations
Stipend and Benefits
- Monthly stipend of ₹40,000/- per month
- Medical and accidental insurance coverage as per university policy

Career Opportunity
Upon successful completion, top-performing and highly skilled trainees may be offered full-time positions at the Global Library, subject to institutional requirements.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Library & Information Science from a recognized university or institute
- Age limit: Not more than 27 years as of 1 December 2025
- Those with prior structured library training or experience in academic libraries may apply as well.
