The Book Review Literary Trust, in collaboration with the India International Centre, is proud to host a landmark event — a two-day Roundtable on Publishing and Book Reviews in India — in celebration of the 50th anniversary of The Book Review.

Scheduled for August 22–23, 2025, at the India International Centre, New Delhi, this roundtable will bring together a distinguished gathering of publishers, authors, critics, literary agents, and scholars. This roundtable offers a unique opportunity to reflect on the trajectory of Indian publishing — from the post-Independence era to the digital age — and to understand the transformative role of book reviews in shaping public opinion and literary merit. With a stellar lineup of speakers and panelists, the sessions promise deep insights and lively debate on the current and future states of Indian literature.
