Professor Femi Cadmus presented Law Archive, a free legal scholarship repository that provides DOIs, strong discoverability, collaboration tools, and long-term access without fees. Professor Scott Jacques introduced CrimArchive, a similar platform for criminology, noting its focus on open sharing, digital preservation, and experimenting with AI and decentralization for greater reach.

The session highlighted the future of open scholarship as one rooted in accessibility, community stewardship, and ethical knowledge sharing rather than commercial barriers.
