IDEAS : It is the largest bibliographic database dedicated to Economics and is available freely on the Internet. Based on RePEc, it indexes over 3,000,000 items of research, including over 2,700,000 that can be downloaded in full text. RePEc is a large volunteer effort to enhance the free dissemination of research in Environmental Economics, which includes bibliographic metadata from over 2,000 participating archives, including all the major publishers and research outlets. IDEAS is just one of several services that use RePEc data. Authors are invited to register with RePEc to create an online profile. World Development Indicators : It is the World Bank’s premier compilation of international statistics on global development. Drawing from officially recognized sources and including national, regional, and global estimates, the WDI provides access to approximately 1,600 indicators for 217 economies, with some time series extending back more than 50 years. The database helps users find information related to development, both current and historical. The topics covered in the WDI range from poverty, health, and demographics to GDP, trade, and the environment.

The Economist : The Economist is an English-language weekly magazine-format newspaper owned by the Economist Group and edited at offices in London, Continuous publication began under its founder James Wilson in September 1843. The Economist takes an editorial stance of classical and economic liberalism that supports free trade, globalisation, free immigration and cultural liberalism.

Economic and Political Weekly :  The Economic and Political Weekly is a weekly peer-reviewed academic journal covering all social sciences, and is published by the Sameeksha Trust. GlobaL Library have online subscription of this peer-reviewed academic journal.

Grist : Founded in 1999, Grist is a beacon in the smog — an independent, irreverent news outlet and network of innovators working toward a planet that doesn’t burn and a future that doesn’t suck. It's based in Seattle so the focus is on the US, but many of the subjects and characters are familiar to UK readers

RealClimate :  It is commentary site on climate science by working climate scientists for the interested public and journalists". Essentially, it is a blog written by a group of scientists, based in the most part in the US, and working on various climate change studies

Treehugger : It's another US-based site with appeal – and a view on what is happening – on this side of the pond. The 10 staff writers and 40 other contributors to Treehugger produce more than 20 posts a day which make it a good source for the latest green news.

World Changing: A US site concentrating on tools and technologies designed to make our lifestyles more sustainable and encourage social change. More than 100 contributors from around the world post on the site, with content organised in sections including business, communities and  cities.

Recycle Now : It is the national recycling campaign for England, supported and funded by Government, managed by WRAP and used locally by over 90% of English authorities. SOLID WASTE INFRASTRUCTURE FOR RECYCLING (SWIFR) GRANTS FOR TRIBES AND INTERTRIBAL CONSORTIA Environmental Protection Agency : The Solid Waste for Infrastructure (SWIFR) grant program funded through the BIL is an historic investment in the health, equity, and resilience of American communities. Environment Fund : It was established already in 1973 by the UN General Assembly, is the core financial fund of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP). As the main source of unrestricted funds, provided by Member States, it enables strategic and effective delivery of results, while allowing for flexibility to respond to emerging environmental challenges. The Fund provides the bedrock for the work of UNEP worldwide, supporting countries to deliver on the environmental dimensions of the 2030 Agenda.

Grant-Funded Research in Environmental Economics : EPA's National Center for Environmental Economics (NCEE), in partnership with the EPA Office of Research and Development (ORD) and/or the National Science Foundation (NSF), awards grants on a variety of topics, including: Benefits Analysis, Cost-Benefit/Cost-Effectiveness Analysis, Cost and Economic Impacts Analyses, Economic Incentives, and other topics.  Awards, as well as project reports and publications, have been developed under environmental economics-related grants made by EPA's Office of Research and Development, NCEE and their partners since 1990. 

Environmental Economics Research Funding : There are many outside sources of funding available which support research in the area of environmental and resource economics. Take it upon to find alternative funding opportunities with federal and state agencies which are focused on your desired area of study. The fellowship will be awarded for a one-year period by a selection panel chaired by Meredith Fowlie (University of California – Berkeley) and Ryan Kellogg (University of Chicago). The panel will assess each applicant’s potential to contribute to important questions in energy economics.

The fellowship recipient will be expected to pursue academic research that is primarily related to energy economics, with an emphasis on issues that are relevant to energy markets and policy in the United States. Environmental Economics Research Committee (EERC) Funds for Enironmental Economics Research : Four projects under this theme evaluate the impact of poor environmental conditions on peoples health and associated economic damages. Environmental, socio-economic and health data from Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Himachal Pradesh and Lucknow are collected. They try to establish the environment-health and economic interlinkages in India. The themes cover issues ranging from environmental exposure to policyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in economically underprivileged population of urban areas in UP, comparative health risk assessment for environmental concerns in North Chennai and environmental costs of industrialization in Gujarat. 

ENVIRONMENT (Morris and Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation): The Foundation strives to preserve the region’s resources and raise awareness so that individuals can enjoy healthy and fulfilling lives in a clean environment. Through our grant-making, we support groups that are concerned with our natural environments past, present, and future. To help restore and protect our region’s natural resources, we have focused on local parks, the Anacostia and Potomac rivers, and the Chesapeake Bay watershed. We have also funded programs that create future stewards. Through such education and outreach efforts, the public becomes more aware of the dangers of an unhealthy environment — including pesticides and toxins — and better understands the need to protect open natural spaces. EPA Environmental Economics Postdoctoral Research Opportunity : This research opportunity is currently available at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of Research and Development (ORD), Center for Environmental Measurement & Modeling (CEMM), Watershed & Ecosystem Characterization Division (WECD) located in Cincinnati, Ohio. EPA ORD recently reorganized and this is the newly named Center. This was formerly in the National Exposure Research Laboratory (NERL). This research project is to conduct an analysis of the economic impacts of contaminated sites, brownfields remediation, and revitalization. Under the guidance of a mentor, the research participant may be involved in the following activities:  

1. Analyzing economic benefit surrounding community might realize from contaminated site remediation, restoration, and revitalization efforts using non-market valuation methods (revealed preference approaches such as hedonic pricing). In addition, other economic impacts may also be analyzed such as impacts on employment, income, poverty, and local tax  
2. Evaluating the negative economic impacts of contaminated brownfields, identifying the economic benefits of site cleanup/remediation, and the impact of brownfields redevelopment, in selected urban areas so as to participate in analyzing benefit-cost of investments in brownfields remediation. Environment and Sustainability Research Grants : The Environment and Sustainability Research Grants offer awards of £15,000 to researchers within 10 years of completing their Ph.D., for projects that investigate some of the bigger issues of environmental sustainability. This could include but is not limited to, water and development, energy security, and urban migration. Projects must demonstrate the ability to advance geographical knowledge and to have a potential impact beyond the academy. EPA(Environmental Protection Agency) Funding : It offers a number of  research funding to  ensure that: a)Americans have clean air, land and water b) National efforts to reduce environmental risks are based on the best available scientific information c)Federal laws protecting human health and the environment are administered and enforced fairly, effectively and as Congress intended d) Environmental stewardship is integral to U.S. policies concerning natural resources, human health, economic growth, energy, transportation, agriculture, industry, and international trade, and these factors are similarly considered in establishing environmental policy.
